SPOTLIGHT: Factory Supplements
The Project Introduction
Factory Supplements are producers and suppliers of wellness and fitness supplements.
Based in Liverpool, with three stores in the area, they were looking to expand their online presence so they could market their products direct to customers.
With over 20 different brands, with a raft of products produced by each brand, Factory Supplements needed an e-commerce solution that would allow customers to search by both brand and product, with a user interface that was both quick and easy to use.
With a strong customer base in their stores, Factory Supplements wished to expand their reach across the UK and increase sales using online marketing.
Factory Supplements wanted to create an online e-commerce portal that could showcase all of their different brands, products and product types and provide a quick and easy way for customers to buy.
The first step was to work with the team at Factory Supplements to understand their brands and products, as well as their target audience. Following this consultation, we realised that they required a full e-commerce solution that was robust, secure and scalable, with advanced search functionality. We built their site on a Big Commerce platform that allowed advanced search functionality and functions that enhance the user experience.
To ensure that customers could find exactly the products they wanted, Verb created advanced search functionality to sit within the e-commerce website. We created a branding page, so that customers could search by brand, alongside filters that allow the customer to find the item via product type. Customers are then able to compare products before adding to their cart. We also created a “wish list” option that allowed sharing of products across different media.
To enhance the website, Verb was able to deliver high quality product photography, with graphic design to make sure each product is showcased to the highest standards.
Factory Supplements now has a fully functioning e-commerce website, opening up a new consumer base across the country. The user journey has been made as intuitive as possible to ensure that it is quick, easy and ensures repeat custom, delivering a new, fully optimised revenue stream.
